For the first 24 hours, DO NOT rinse, smoke, spit, use a straw, or drink carbonated beverages.

*Take 1 Tylenol (325 mg) and 2 Ibuprofen (400 mg), together, every 4-6 hours for any discomfort as needed.
*Please follow instructions on pain control properly and stay ahead of the pain, not chase the pain.
*Keep your head elevated. Keep firm pressure on the gauze for several hours or as directed.
*Replace gauze as needed or after drinking or taking medicine. Do not be alarmed by swelling
or bruising within the first week.
*Following oral surgery and bone grafting procedures, some discomfort and sensitivity is to be expected. During the healing process, you may experience slight swelling and increased discomfort; this will subside within a few days.
***IF YOU START TO NOTICE SIGNS OF INFECTION SUCH AS RUNNING A FEVER, FOUL TASTE OR ODOR COMING FROM THE SURGICAL SITE, AND SWELLING, PLEASE CALL THE OFFICE***
